Teaching outcomes
Upon the completion of this course the students will be able to:

  • Identify the different insect pests of selected fruit trees, olives and vine grapes.
  • Understand the main aspects of the biology, ecology and ethology of the selected pest species studied.
  • Organize a plan of integrated pest management in fruit trees orchards, olive groves and vineyards.

Morphology, biology, ecology, behaviour and management of the main insect pests of pome and stone fruit trees, olives and vine grapes.
